Earl's Court tube closures: read this update
Thursday, 1 July 2010
If you're planning on arriving at Ibis Earls Court on Saturday morning rather than staying at the hotel, you need to take a look at this info from TFL about planned closures. The Circle line is completely closed and several other lines around London are affected.
The westbound section of the District line, which goes to Earl's Court and West Brompton Tube station, is shown on the TFL's site as operating normally.
Here's the TFL update:
There are several tube lines affected by engineering closures on the London underground this weekend. The main ones to affect Cybermummy are full closure of the Circle line and sections of the District line. The Piccadilly line arriving at Earl’s Court is still open.
Anyone arriving by tube and train on Saturday, especially if via mainline stations such as Euston, King’s Cross, Liverpool St, Victoria should check the Transport for London website for alternative routes to Earl’s Court.
Full details of all closures are on Transport for London’s website at:

Here's the hotel website with area map.
Three bus lines also stop just in front of the hotel on Lillie Road. PDF map

iPhone users may well want to download the TubeMap app to use on the day, which not only helps you plan a route but gives up to the minute info on line closures also. I've looked at a few and this seems to be the best one
